Terms and Conditions for Dealbird

Last Updated: October 26, 2026

Welcome to Dealbird, operated by Digital Slaughter LLC ("Dealbird," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dealbird.app and the Dealbird app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Dealbird Is

Dealbird is a quote and deposit tool for small trades contractors: build a quote, send it to a homeowner, let them sign and pay a deposit, and get automatic follow-up when they go quiet. Dealbird is not a licensing body, a contract-law advisor, or a party to any agreement between a contractor and their homeowner customer. The contractor is solely responsible for the accuracy of their quotes, their pricing, and their compliance with any licensing or contracting laws that apply to their trade and location.

2. Accounts and Plans

You need an account to use the Service. Dealbird offers a free trial (your first 5 sent quotes) and paid plans (Solo, Pro, Crew) billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. You can view current pricing at dealbird.app. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings; your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period.

3. Deposits and Payments

When a homeowner accepts a quote with a deposit, that payment is processed through Stripe directly to the contractor's own connected Stripe account, minus Stripe's processing costs and Dealbird's platform fee (disclosed in Settings before you turn deposits on). Dealbird facilitates this payment flow but is not a party to the underlying contract for home-improvement work between the contractor and the homeowner.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communications, to misrepresent who you are, or to use another business's information without authorization. You're responsible for the content of the quotes, photos, and messages you send through the Service.

5. Text Messaging (SMS)

Full SMS terms, including message types, frequency, and how to opt out, are posted at dealbird.app/sms-terms and incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." Dealbird is not liable for disputes between a contractor and a homeowner, for delays or failures in third-party services we rely on (Stripe, Supabase, Mailgun, Twilio, OpenAI), or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
